I love drawing Carrot. CarrotCarrotCarrot. Drawing Carrot has become an endless source of amusement for me. I think it's because he's the only character I draw who comes even remotely close to the vision I have in my head. ::nods:: And more Terry Pratchett joy! I was flailing about the library this afternoon, remembering my grudge I started last year with the Fiction section because they didn't have any Discworld books. Well, the librarians have wised up. Slightly. There, on the shelves, was "Strata", one of Pterry's much older books, that in my opinion convinced him to start writing about a flat planet called the discworld. It's so strange, because you'd never know it was Terry Pratchett just reading it. It's like your run-of-the-mill, standard science fiction. ::nods again:: I hope I manage to weasel my dad into letting me stop at Barnes and Noble (now 6 blocks from my house! Score!) sometime soon. I think I'm in Rincewind withdrawal. Or maybe I could get another of the Watch books, as all the Watch characters are so darn shibby. Have you started "Guards! Guards!" yet, Tanja? ::offers yummy soup::
I think I'm going to scare my English teacher. He's asking us to keep a log of our outside reading, which is probably a class average of (compensating for the slackers) something like four pages. Three books in as many days might frighten the poor guy. ::sigh:: Still, I should read more. Maybe if I didn't spend all my time playing on the internet, starting fan clubs for myself, drawing fanart, and doing homework, I might have time to actually accomplish something. Kids today.
