Arg. I don't think I even have the energy to flail in indignation. Yesterday, Mr. Dumaine assigned yet another paper. The rough draft and final drafts are due at the next two class meeting times: tomorrow and Monday. I think that he believes that we need to be spending more time on his class instead of our other subjects because we don't have an exam in English. Yes, exams are Wednesday through Friday next week. I'm going to die.

Also, I just realized today that my lines for all of Act 1 of "The Pajama Game" are due on Friday. And I have an evil calculus test of doom on Friday that Mr. Dubsky only told us about on Monday. And a test on the muscular system in PE on Friday, as well. And a history paper on Friday that I haven't even started yet. Oh, yeah. And my free period tomorrow is going to be occupied solely by a huge assignment for P.E. that can only be done on a few choice school computers. And it's almost impossible to get any computer during that time, to boot. Bugger. Also for Friday, I have to have shot another roll of film so that I can have it developed for my photography class on Saturday morning. It's slide film, so it takes significantly longer to develop. Hiss.

Also, I'm completely exhausted from rehearsal today. We choreographed "Once a Year Day", and as you may know, I can't dance my way out of a paper bag. Of course, I realized when I got home, I noticed that I go offstage just before the song begins. Am I even in this number? Arg.

As for exams, they're in:
  • Physics -- Percy help me. I don't know any of the formulas. All his tests in the past have been open-notes, so I haven't expended much effort in memorizing them. The exam, of course, is *not* open notes. Help. Additionally, we have to turn in our lab notebooks right before we take the exam Wednesday morning, and I'm so behind it's not even funny. When will I have time to work on it? The world may never know.
  • Calculus -- I think I'll do okay. I'm still flailing a bit when it comes to finding the derivatives of really scary log/ln/e rubbish, but I'll have the weekend to figure it out.
  • History -- I know nothing. I'm going to die.A few things that cheer me up at the moment:
  • Coming across the word "klatches" in The Crucible. No matter how many times I see it, it still amuses me.
  • This gorgeous image from Alicey's daily sketch.
  • Listening to my Jekyll and Hyde cd. Sannali, you rock for suggesting it. Not only is it incredibly groovy, it's really fun to sing along with in the car. I was getting really sick of singing "Phantom of the Opera" and "A Little Bit of Good" from Chicago to warm up my head voice. I've had these songs stuck in my head all day. In a good way, though.
  • I wrote a bit more of "Men at Arms" in PE today, as we spent the class period walking or jogging around the track. Plenty of time to compose and such. I came up with a tidbit of score for a new song, which is always nifty. Hurrah. I'm still amusing myself with a bit of music that came to me when I woke up in the middle of the night. I stumbled over to my computer, recorded whatever came to mind, saved it, and went back to bed. An odd experience.Sleepytime now. Tomorrow, I'm going to track down Mrs. Felice at Jesuit and give her the completed scarf and a copy of "Maskerade". Hope she likes them...
